FROM THE ACADEMIC DESK

Ben Myers is currently undergoing his five yearly performance review.  The aim of the review is to offer Ben feedback on the quality of his work and allow for planning his professional development and career opportunities through the College and the University. The review is not about whether Ben continues to work here!  That is guaranteed – this exercise is solely about the quality of his performance.  Students who have been taught by Ben are being contacted to send in comments.  These comments are to go to the College Secretary as part of a confidential, indeed ‘blind’, process.  The College Secretary will receive and collate the responses.  Then all original sheets will be shredded, and no names will be able to be associated with any particular statements.  No record of respondents will be kept once the closing date for responses has been reached.
