FROM THE ACTING PRINCIPAL



WELCOME TO 2014

There have been two intensives over the last four weeks.  Both have been well attended.

We look forward to seeing the student population and staff back on this site.  Please see Renee Kelly or Jenny Stockton if you have any queries re Courses.

COMMUNITY MORNING TEA
Will held on Thursday Mornings for session one & will commence Feb 27 in the Atrium at 10:45am. All are welcome.

SAD NEWS
It was with heartfelt sympathy to Narelle and Michaela that we note the death of David Holden.  David was the Financial Administrator of the College.  Rev. Dr Clive Pearson spoke at his funeral on behalf of the College.

We also note the death of Rev. Dr Tuikilakila Waqairatu, the President of the Methodist Church in Fiji.  The Methodist Church in Fiji is one of our Uniting Church Partners and also is a member of the South Pacific Association of Theological Schools.  Our condolences have been expressed.

Radhika Sukumar and Adrian White were married in January.  They are now known as the Sukumar-Whites.  Below is a link to their wedding photos.

OPENING SERVICE AND GUEST LECTURE

MONDAY 24 February at 9am is the Opening Service and Induction of Rev. Duncan Macleod, the Director of the Uniting Learning Network.
 
Following the Service there is a morning tea.  Rev. Dr William Emilsen will be presenting the Guest Lecture.

FROM STUDENT ADMINISTRATION

Please note that the Student Administration email address is now studentadmin@nsw.uca.org.au all queries for Jenny or Renee are sent to this new email address.

Students should be able to view their 201430 subjects through their CSU interact site around the 10th of February, this is also when CSU Finance will raise invoices for any students who pay in advance for their study.

A reminder that UTC Student Administration has a new email address. Please send all inquiries to studentadmin@nsw.uca.org.au as both Renee & Jenny will be able to access this and reply promptly to your request.

Classes for Session one 2014 begin on Monday March 3

A reminder to all students that if you have not already done so please enrol in subjects for 201430 as soon as possible. A $50 - $100 late fee will apply unfortunately as the cut off date for on time enrolment was Jan31.
Pastoral Counseling Skills Course 2014
- The Pastoral Counseling Institute provides training in a variety of areas for pastoral carers, lay ministry, counselors and chaplains;
