UTC eNews 201160 week 7

Welcome back to classes.  I hope that the break was productive and even a bit restive.

FROM THE ACADEMIC DESK
There will be a special issue of Uniting Church Studies out this coming week celebrating the 500th anniversary of John Calvin’s birth. The Calvin Quincentenary issue explores the role of Calvin as a public theologian and offers a distinctly Australian and Uniting Church contribution to Calvin studies. Copies may be purchased individually for $20 from the front office.  For more information see William Emilsen.

CONGRATULATIONS: Paul Chalson’s Doctor of Ministry thesis has been accepted and he will graduate as a Doctor of Ministry at the end of the year.  The title of the thesis was: Earthing God in Liturgy.

Further on books, copies of the book Out of Place, edited by Jione and Clive, are available for sale from the front office at a price of $30.

WELCOME to Heidi Wright who will be working on Mondays as a job share with Itu until the end of November.
