FROM THE COLLEGE SECRETARY
At UTC we are seeking to develop the College’s profile and make the most of the College’s resources. With this in mind, would you please take a moment to send me an email (suzannec@nsw.uca.org.au) to indicate what first prompted you to consider studying at UTC? Was it a recommendation by word of mouth or email; the Synod website; UTC website, facebook or twitter; perhaps an advertisement in Insights; a church bulletin or some other literature; or an ad on the radio? If you would please send me a note about how you first came to consider UTC, this will help us in thinking about how we promote the College. Indeed, if you have any ideas you would like to offer about the College’s communication, we would be very glad to receive them.

Anniversary of the forming of the Uniting Church in Australia
On 22 June 1977 the people of the Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian Churches came together in Sydney Town Hall to announce to the nation and the world that a new church had been born. It was in this 'Statement to the Nation' - a short announcement of identity, intention and thanks - that many of the core social concerns of the Uniting Church were articulated. Information about resources for celebrating the anniversary and an invitation to share your church’s story can be found on the Assembly website www.uca.org.au
